The BoS's main responsibility is to safeguard the quality of the academic program at UCR.
The Board of Studies consists of the four Heads of Department, two Student Representatives (AAC Chair and Content Manager) and the Director of Education, who chairs the BoS.
The Board of Studies provides the Director of Education with advice on a variety of matters, such as policy and curriculum development, course evaluations, the educational report, and other things.
